Improved Recovery in Rougher Flotation Cell Transfer

Our customer approached us with the objective of improving concentrate recovery efficiency in flotation cells by at least 1%. To address this requirement, we were commissioned to supply our VDSA equipment (Dart Valves for Atmospheric Systems) to facilitate intercell slurry transfer and enable automatic operation integrated with the level control systems of each flotation cell.
At PESSA, we focus on tailoring our VDSA valve designs to the specific requirements of each operation, ensuring stable and reliable control during intercell slurry transfer. Furthermore, we take pride in incorporating cutting-edge technology into our pneumatic actuation systems, enabling precise position feedback through remotely installed valve positioners while meeting the highest quality standards.
Following the implementation of automatic control using our VDSA valves, our customers have experienced significant improvements, achieving efficiency increases of up to 5% in flotation cell operations. These results have far exceeded their initial expectations for increased production.
The positive results achieved have encouraged our customers to standardize their flotation lines using PESSA technology, recognizing the value and superior performance our equipment delivers to their processes.
We remain committed to providing reliable and efficient solutions that help our customers maximize the performance of their flotation processes. Contact us today and discover how our VDSA valves can optimize your operations and deliver outstanding results.
